Episode 501: Say Goodbye to Daisy Miller
Things couldn't be better/worse. The inn's test run is a success. Lorelai and
Luke's fledgling romance takes wing. Emily and Richard's marriage is in shreds.
Rory and Lorelai aren't talkaing after Rory's liason with Dean.
Episode 502: A Messenger, Nothing More
The pen is mightier . . . While she tours Europe with Emily, Rory sends Dean
a letter, hoping to fix the mess she's created. But the mess gets messier when
Dean's wife reads the letter.
Episode 503: Written in the Stars
Shhh! Lorelai and Luke keep their relationship a secret until Lorelai,
wearing nothing but Luke's shirt, tiptoes downstairs. . . into a diner packed
with customers. Paris holds a wake for Professor Flemming.
Episode 504: Tippecanoe and Taylor, Too
Happy Days are here again! Fed up with Taylor Doose's stranglehold on the body
politic, Jackson runs against him for town selectman. Meanwhile, Dean and Rory
search for somewhere to be alone together.
Episode 505: We Got Us a Pippi Virgin
Being together: Lorelai, Luke, Rory and Dean go on a disaterous double date.
Being apart: Emily and Richard, separated after 39 years of marriage, find single
life more lonely than liberating.
Episode 506: Norman Mailer, I'm Pregnant!
The write stuff. Rory investigates an on-campus secret society for the school
newspaper. And literary lion Norman Mailer takes up a table at the Dragonfly
dining room, but only orders iced tea.
Episode 507: You Jump, I Jump, Jack
On an overnight adventure with Logan and the Life and Death Brigade, Rory
attempts a life-or-death stunt. Luke faces an even more terrifying ordeal:
bonding with Emily and Richard.
Episode 508: The Party's Over
It's time to call it a day. Richard and Emily, eager to play matchmaker, throw
a party for Rory that dooms her relationship with Dean. And Luke and Lorelai's
romantic dinner is disturbed by a fuming T.J.
Episode 509: Emily Says 'Hello'
The girls' plan to reunite Emily and Richard goes toes up when Emily declares
her intention to start dating. More dating drama; Lorelai invites Christopher to
lunch (and doesn't tell Luke).
Episode 510: But Not As Cute As Pushkin
Rory hosts a girl from her prep school whose only interest in New Haven is the
Yale male. Meanwhile, Lorelai discovers why Luke disappears every November 30th
and Paris speed-dates . . . with rapid results.
Episode 511: Women of Questionable Morals
Events snowball with the first snowfall: The annual Revolutionary War
reenactment gets spicy. Christopher tries to make amends with Rory and a Jack
Russell brings Emily and Richard together, at least temporarily.
Episode 512: Come Home
A relationship salvaged; a fender bender reunites Emily and Richard. A
relationship savaged: to force Luke out of the picture, Emily encourages
Christopher to woo Lorelai. Lane's band celebrates Korean New Year.
Episode 513: Wedding Bell Blues (100th episode)
That whoosh you hear is the air rushing out of the Luke-Lorelai romance.
Richard and Emily's elegant recommitment ceremony ends with Logan and Rory in
dishabille, people shouting and Luke gone.
Episode 514: Say Something
While the town takes sides in the breakup, dumped and devastated Lorelai takes
to her bed . . . and Rory rides to the rescue in Logan's limo, armed with cookie
dough, DVDs and TLC.
Episode 515: Jews and Chinese Food
Matchmaker, matchmaker. With Lorelai designing costumes for a school
production of Fiddler on the Roof, Luke gladly volunteers as set builder. Marty
is attracted to Rory, but Rory is attracted to Logan.
Episode 516: So . . . Good Talk
Big Snits. Lane's peeved at Mrs. Kim. Lorelai won't speak to Emily. Rory will
- very loudly. And Luke, miserable without Lorelai, burns the burgers and snarls
at customers.
Episode 517: Pulp Friction
A Quentin Tarantino-themed party initiates a new phase in Logan and Rory's
relationship. Emily and Lorelai stop not speaking and start yelling. Michel wins
a very un-Michel prize: a motor home.
Episode 518: To Live and Let Diorama
Disgruntled with the men in their lives, Rory, Paris and Lane share a blue
funk . . . and too much booze. And Luke is curiously eager to help renovate an
old house into the town museum.
Episode 519: But I'm A Gilmore
Disaster in a blue dress. Rory dines at the Huntsbergers' . . . and does not
measure up to the family's idea of a suitable girl for Logan. With Sookie on bed
rest, Luke fills in as chef at the Dragonfly.
Episode 520: How Many Kroapogs to Cape Cod?
Huntzbergers 24/7. Rory starts work as Mitchum Huntzberger's intern. And Emily
and Richard vie for Most Obsequious honours when they host a dinner for Logan.
Lorelai receives a tempting job offer.
Episode 521: Blame Booze and Meville
Sookie is surprised when her baby arrives early, Emily is surprised by an
article about the Dragonfly, Luke is surprised when he's outbid on the Twickham
house and Rory is surprised by her performance review.
Episode 522: A House Is Not A Home
The Kims face trouble and everyone pulls together. The Gilmores face trouble
and everything falls apart. At school year's end, Rory makes a decision that
leaves Lorelai stunned and grieving.
