three days so Rory can attend Yale orientation. But Lke wins the Road Runner
contest. He got married during a summer cruise - and now he's getting divorced.
Episode 402: The Lorelai's First Day at Yale
You look familiar. One of Rory's suitemates at Yale is . . . Paris Geller? But
that's not the ony surprise college brings: Rory is stunned to discover she's not
quite ready to let go of Lorelai.
Episode 403: The Hobbit, the Sofa, and Digger Stiles
The good ship partnership: Lorelai and Sookie team up to cater a children's
Lord of the Rings birthday party, twins trap Rory at her first Yale party and
Richard goes into business with the son of his former associate.
Episode 404: Chicken or Beef?
After jumping through Taylor Doose's hoops, Lorelai begins renovating the
Dragonfly. Another new start: Dean gets married, despite his boozy, post-
bachelor-party confession to Luke that he still cares for Rory.
Episode 405: The Fundamental Things Apply
What do you say when there's nothing to talk about? Rory's first college date
is a dud. Meanwhile, Lorelai asks Luke to take Rory's place in a Gilmore
tradition: Movie Night.
Episode 406: An Affair to Remember
Emily plans a launch party for Richard's new business and hires Lorelai and
Sookie to cater it. And Kirk prepares. . . extensively. . . for a date. But
neither affair goes quite as expected.
Episode 407: The Festival of Living Art
The whole town gets involved posing as famed artwork for a festival. While the
show goes on, Luke's about-to-be ex shows up - and Sookie's baby is a no-show,
days afer the due date.
Episode 408: Die, Jerk
En pointe and in print. To get a story pubished in the school newspaper, Rory
blasts the Yale ballet . . . and earns the lead ballerina's wrath. Jason finagles
an invitation to the Gilmores' Friday dinner.
Episode 409: Ted Koppel's Big Night Out
The Harvard-Yale game leads to a rift between Emily and Richarad and a dinner
date for Jason and Lorelai. Luke's new employee drives everyone away from the
diner.
Episode 410: The Nanny and The Professor
The nanny is Michel's old rival, who has child-phobic Michel so paranoid he
offers to play Mary Poppins to baby Davy. The professor is a famed academic who's
dating a woman 40 years his junior: Paris.
Episode 411: A Family Matter
You can choose your friends. Luke is wary when his flaky sister Liz
unexpectedly visits. Then the other shoe drops: Jess is back in Stars Hollow. And
Paris dumps boyfriend Jamie in favour of Prof. Flemming.

When Luke wants to do something about Liz's latest boyfriend, who seems to
be yet another life-sapping loser, Jess accuses him of being a know-it-all
buttinski . . . and Luke takes the critisim to heart.

Things fall apart. Humiliated when she has trouble keeping up with her course
load, Rory leans on Dean for support. Running out of time and money to renovate
the Dragonfly, Lorelai turns to Luke.

Conspicious consumption. Hurt that Richard spends so much time on business,
Emily hits the mall, dragging Lorelai and Rory in her wake. Plus: Lane moves
into an apartment with her bandmates.

Lorelai goes underwear shopping. For a dead person. She's in charge of
funeral arrangements for recently deceased Gran now that Emily has found Gran's
decades-old letter telling Richard not to marry her.
Episode 416: Girls in Bikins, Boys Doin' the Twist
Rory and Paris go south for a rite of passage: spring break! Jason deals
with the rite of giving Lorelai his house key. Luke is read his rights after
beating up the car that belongs to Nicole's secret boyfriend.

Some things shoudn't stay hidden - such as the unfound Easter eggs rotting in
the square. Also out of hiding: the Lorelai-Jason thing. And ex-biz associate
Floyd slaps a lawsuit on Richard.

What happens after an explosion? Everything's in pieces. The breakup of
Richard and Jason's business results in two more breakups: the Richard-and-Emily
marriage and the Loreali-and-Jason love affair.
Episode 419: Luke Can See Her Face
The least-likely person to buy self-help tapes buys self-help tapes. And what
do you know? They help. Thanks to the voice from the boom box, Luke finally
realizes what will make him happy.
Episode 420: Last Week Fights, This Week Tights
Wedding day at Stars Hollow - and the ceremony seems to have an effect on Luke
and Jess. Meanwhile, Rory and Dean share another rendezvous.
Episode 421: Raincoats and Recipes
The Dragonfly hosts a test-run weekend, and it seems everyone Lorelai knows is
there, oohing and aahing, laughing and loving - clashing, crying, fuming,
leaving.
